Bangladesh Canberra Friendship School 2026
28 June 2026
For 17 years, the Bangladesh Canberra Friendship School (BCFS) has been a lifeline for children in the delta region. Since opening in 2009, the school has survived only through the generosity of donors. Every teacher paid, every pen and notebook, every lesson taught — it has all been possible because of you.
To keep BCFS running in 2026, we need to raise AUD 12,500. Your support provides:
• Teachers’ salaries • Stationery & learning materials • Sporting equipment & sports day
Watch Mili’s story
Mili, a Year 5 student, dreams of becoming a doctor one day — your support keeps her dream alive. Watch Mili’s story on YouTube.
At the end of the video, you’ll see Shihab, a BCFS graduate now studying Civil Engineering at Dhaka Polytechnic. He receives a Fred Hyde scholarship and is being supported with a laptop for his studies. His journey shows how far donor support can take a child.
