Thank you for your generous ongoing support towards Bangladesh Canberra Friendship School (BCFS) which has been running since 2009. This year we need to raise AUD 10,500. Any contributions over $2 are TAX DEDUCTIBLE IN AUSTRALIA.

BCFS is one of the 54 schools (primary/pre-school) run by Fred Hyde Schools.
Among all the schools, Bangladesh Canberra Friendship School (BCFS) topped the list in Primary School Exam (PSE) in the last many years in a row (apart from the COVID period when there were no exams).
Although the school was closed due to the pandemic in the last 2 years, Fred Hyde Schools implemented home delivery program. Teachers were delivering homework sheets to students at home and picking after 3-4 days.
During the shutdown period teachers were receiving 90% of the salary, those participating with home delivery program receiving 100%. The teachers had a choice of working during the time of COVID. CO-ID Chair Dr Olav Muurlink (Fred Hyde Schools) believes Home Delivery program was remarkable and probably the first initiative in the remote areas of Bangladesh.
