Urgent Appeal: Help Restore Sight to Injured Students in Bangladesh
In the wake of the recent student movement in Bangladesh, over a thousand individuals have been wounded, with many suffering severe eye injuries from bullets. These brave students now face the risk of permanent blindness without immediate and complex surgical intervention. Unfortunately, hospitals are overwhelmed and struggling to provide the necessary care due to a critical shortage of surgical instruments.
LWFB has joined forces with the Ophthalmological Society of Bangladesh to address this urgent crisis. We are launching a fundraising campaign to procure the essential surgical instruments needed to perform these eye-saving surgeries without delay.
