Ramadan Food Packages 2026
Aasalamuwalikum, Greetings!
Ramadan is now weeks away. While we shop for our families, buy food, groceries, and new clothing, we also need to think about the less fortunate. The ones that cannot help themselves are eagerly looking forward to receiving from ones who can extend a helping hand. As we have been taking this endeavour for the past many years, to reduce the burden of the less fortunate, LWFB has decided to gift ‘RAMADAN FOOD PACKAGES’ to as many families as possible In Sha Allah again this year. The contribution towards this initiative is eligible for Zakat.

9. মরিচ (Chili Powder 500 Grams 250 Taka)
10. জিরা (Cumin Powder 100 Grams 120 Taka)
11. গরম মসলা (Mashala 50 taka equivalent)
12. তেজপাতা সহ অন্যন্য মসলা (Other spices including bay leave 30 taka equivalent)
13. ধনিয়া (Coriander 100 Grams 35 Taka)
14. আদা (Ginger 500 Gram 80 Taka)
15. মুড়ি (Puffed Rice I Kg 200 Taka)
16. চিড়া(Flattened Rice I KG 80 Taka)
17. ছোলা (Chickpea 2Kg 280 Taka)
18. চিনি (Sugar 1Kg 240 Taka)
19. সুজি (Suji 500 Grams 50 Taka)
20. গুড়ো দুধ (Milkpowder250 Grams 200 Taka)

22. ইনস্ট্যান্ট অরেঞ্জ ড্রিংক (Instant Orange Drink Powder 250 Grams 150 Taka)

Total TK 4,816 Through our experience over the last few years, we have learned that if we purchase items from the right sources in this case, by going directly to wholesalers and farmers we can often purchase the goods for much less compared to the regular market price. As an example, we acquire potatoes, onions, and garlic from farmers, while we obtain turmeric and cumin powder from local mills. We can purchase goods at significant discounts from market value this way. This year, we believe that we can purchase all the products for approximately TK 4,800, In Sha Allah, even though the current market price is TK 5,003. (While we put forward our best efforts, due to exchange rates, market volatility, supply shortage of specific products, or increase in product pricing, the prices and quantities of the products or items may change). |

(In Sha Allah, in addition to the locations, we will attempt to deliver Ramadan food packages to a specified region inside the country should a donor wish to focus in that region). |
